Ugh. UGHHHHH. This just revives all the things I was feeling the other day about Tenzin and Aang, and how of course Aang loves all his kids to pieces, but there’s always a bit of a special bond with Tenzin because they’re both Airbenders- the only two Airbenders in the world. How it must have felt for Aang to have this child and to know that he wasn’t the last of his kind anymore, that his people, his culture had a future. And of course it will be different, of course the Air Nomads of the future will change and adapt, but then that’s what they do anyway.
Ugh, just. Aang having an Airbending student. Teaching Tenzin the air ball thing and the best way to throw pies, showing him the marble trick (GUARANTEED TO IMPRESS THE LADIES, SON), taking him to find a bison calf of his own… MY EMOTIONSSSS.
